Step1 Warm-up
1 Greetings
T: Good morning, everyone.
S: Good morning ,
Miss Guo
T:First of all, let's sing the song: stand in a circle(复习上节课学习的歌曲，巩固所学知识，营造活跃的学习气氛。)
2 Free talk (教师拿出形状图片和学生进行对话，复习相关旧句型，为新课学习做铺垫)
T: What shape is this?
S: It’s a circle. The watch is a circle,
Step2 Presentation
1 learn the new word: square
a 教师在黑板上画个正方形，教授square
T: What shape is this? Is it a circle?
Ss: No.
T: No. It’s not a circle. It’s a square.请学生说square, It’s a square.
b 教师手拿一张彩纸，边剪图形边问学生：
T: Look! I’m cutting shapes. (教师将彩纸剪成一个圆形)What shape is this ?
S: It’s a circle.教师接着在圆形纸上继续剪，剪出一个正方形后，问学生：
T: What shape is it
?
Ss: It’s a square.
T let the students read the word several times.
2 learn the new word: clock
a 教师指着自己手腕上的手表问学生：
T: What’s this ?
Ss: It’s a watch.
T: (接着出示一个玩具闹钟)What’s this ?Is it a watch , too?
Ss: It’s a clock/闹钟。
T: Yes. It’s a clock.请学生说clock, it’s a clock.
(用watch引出clock，便于学生区分)
b 教师出?綾lock的卡片，带读单词。
3 learn the new word: robot
a 教师出示玩具机器人，问学生：
T: What’s this ?
Ss: It’s a robot/机器人。
T: Yes, it’s a robot.教师出示词卡，带领学生读单词，学生跟读单词robot
4 复习巩固单词
a 教师任意出示单词卡让学生认读抢答，第一个答对者为获胜者，复习单词的同时锻炼了学生的反应能力。
b 小组比赛：以小组为单位进行认读抢答，组长作为小老师出示单词卡（第1,2两课的单词），比一比谁抢答的正确率高，培养了学生的竞争意识。
5 learn the sentences
a T: (出示正方形闹钟)What’s this ?
Ss: It’s a clock.
T: (描闹钟外围的正方形)What shape is this ?Is it a circle?
Ss: No, it’s a square.
T: Yes, it’s a square. The clock is a square.教师请学生说square, it’s a square, the clock is a square.
b 学生听录音，看图，跟读单词和课文
c 师生练习对话，学生结伴练习对话，表演对话
Step3 Practice
教师带领学生开展Guessing game “what’s in my hand?”游戏，复习第一课和第二课的单词。
教师示范游戏方法：从口袋中拿出一件东西不让学生看见，然后问学生：what’s in my hand?回答正确的给予奖励，把这个东西送给学生（课后可以用小贴画换回，这样做可激发学生的积极性）
设计意图：通过猜一猜的游戏复习单词和句子，寓学习于游戏活动中，让学生在玩中学，在玩中用。
Step4 Let’s sing
1学生听歌曲录音，边听边学唱歌曲
2学生分小组自己编一些动作，充分发挥想象力，创造力和表演能力
3学生分小组表演歌曲
4全班学生评出唱的最好和表演最好的小组，教师带领全班同学鼓掌鼓励他们，希望其他小组学习他们的团队合作精神
Step5 Homework
1听录音跟读单词和对话
2与同学就某些物体形状进行问答对话
3听录音跟唱本课的歌曲，唱给父母听，下节课表演
