教材分析
本课是1B教材Unit 4 中第四课。两个动物单词和一组特点鲜明的反义词，适合低年级学生的身心特点和兴趣爱好。课文中Listen and check 内容是对知识的进一步拓展，最后用歌曲巩固本课知识。
学情分析
一年级学生活泼好动，乐于模仿，喜欢表现爱唱爱玩，他们已经掌握一些简单词句，能听懂一些简单日常用语，但是他们注意力集中时间不长，教师在设计时要从孩子兴趣和求知欲入手，设计学生喜爱的活动，让他们在玩中学，在乐中学。
教学方法：TRR教学法，直观教学法，情景教学法，交际法
教学准备：多媒体课件，图片。自制头饰
教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
1.
师生问好。
2.
听歌曲。The rabbit is fast. The turtle is slow.
Step 2 Revision
1.
创设情境，复习学过的动物单词。
师： It’s Sunny and warm today. There is a race in the forest. Let’s go and see. Ok? 生：Ok! 多媒体展示森林图片。师描述图片上内容。There are many trees and grass. There are some beautiful flowers too. Who are they? 出示已学过的小动物图片。学生一边说单词，一边模仿小动物的动作。
2.
猜谜语，引出rabbit单词。
①
展示小兔遮住一部分的图片。师描述，让生猜谜。It has red eyes and long ears. It likes to eat cabbages and carrots. Who is it? Yes. It’s a rabbit.
②贴rabbit图，板书单词。师范读，生跟读。
Step 3 Presentation: turtle, fast, slow.
1.
教授turtle。
①
师做动作，模仿小动物，生猜测，引出turtle单词。
②贴turtle图，板书单词。师范读，生跟读并模仿动作。③多种形式读单词。
2.
巩固单词 rabbit和 turtle。
①
师说单词，生做动作。
② 游戏：猜猜小动物。多媒体课件展示，生猜测。
3.
教授 fast和 slow。
①
师带领生做各项快速和慢速运动，教授fast和slow。It’s nice today. There are many animals do exercise in the forest. Let’s do morning exercise, too! 师一边做各项快速和慢速动作，一边说单词fast和slow。例如：快慢速拍手，手臂绕圈，起立、下蹲等运动。
②
生模仿师做动作，说单词fast和slow.
③
生听指令，做动作。
④ 鼓励生用不同的动作来表示fast和slow.小老师上台引领生做动作，说单词。
Step4 Introduction and Practice：Sentences
1.
观看动画片：龟兔赛跑
多媒体课件放映 师：The rabbit and the turtle have a race in the forest. Let’s see. Who is fast? Who is slow? 生观看影片，鼓励生回答。 The ___ is fast. The ___ is slow.
2.
生听录音，指句子，再放录音，生听音跟读。
3. Chant: Rabbit, Rabbit, The rabbit is fast.
Turtle, Turtle, The turtle is slow.
4.
请生带上头饰，比赛跑步，操练句子。
Who is fast/slow? The ___ is fast/slow.
Step5 Extension
1. 多媒体展示几组交通工具比较图，生练习句子回答。问Which is fast/slow? 回答： The _____ is fast/slow.
2. 学生两人一组比赛run,jump,hop等活动，在真实的语境中感受、运用句子。 Who is fast/slow? The ___ is fast/slow.
