3.(CAI)Show the words “big” and “little”. Then show a picture of a rabbit. Encourage students to say “a big rabbit” when it turns big and “a little rabbit” when it turns small. Practice the other five animals in the same way.
4. Play a game: What’s missing?
Teacher shows students the six toy animals on the teacher’s desk. Ask one student to come to the front and take one of them to his/her desk and hide it. At the same time, other students should close their eyes. Then make students open their eyes, teacher asks: “What’s missing?” Ask students to look forward and guess the answer. Play several times until the toys are all missing.
5. Practice: I have …
Encourage the students who have the toy animals to stand up and show the animals, saying: “I have a big/little …”
6.Play a chain game.
Students pass the toys when the teacher plays the music. When the music stops, the students who own the toys should stand up. Encourage them to make dialogs this way:
S1: I have a big/little …

What do you have?

S2: I have a big/little …

What do you have?

S3:I have …
Step  Consolidation:
