教材分析和基本教学理念 ：
Lesson 20是第三单元Jobs的第六课时。本单元都是围绕“职业”(Jobs)这一话题展开。在此之前，学生已学过不少有关职业的单词。比如：doctor、nurse、cook、 fireman、 singer 等，这为本课的学习打下了很好的基础，同时也为句型What job do you want to do?的操练做了铺垫。教学时，我主要采取游戏的形式，在课的开始，我使用“Brainstorming”来激发孩子的思维，让他们复习旧知。同时，我也注重使用情景教学法、任务型教学法和交际法等来创设真实
的情境，让学生们在情境中学习，做到词不离句，句不离境。
教学目标
1、
知识目标
（1）
学习和掌握2个新词police officer, pilot ；认读2个短语：What job .want to be .
（2）
复习5个单词what 、do、 fireman、 doctor、 singer
2、
能力目标
（1）
使学生能够运用所学词句描述他们所从事的职业。
（2）
让学生能够用I want to be …..句型表达个人的职业理想。
（3）
能够通过情境交际，培养学生的语言交际能力。
3、
情感目标
通过学习。，激发学生热爱工作的感情，教育他们任何工作都是好的。
教学重点
1、
使学生掌握新词和短语。
2、
让学生在真实的语境中学会使用句型What job do you want to do ? I want to be a -------来谈论自己的职业理想。
教学难点
Police officer 这个单词的发音。
教学方法
情境教学法、头脑风暴、任务型教学法、交际法、TPR
教学准备
一个“黑猫警长”玩具、自制PPT、图片 ，一个幸运大转盘
教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
1、
Greetings!
2、
Listen to the
song :Who’s he /she ?
(设计意图：用歌曲的形式活跃课堂气氛，吸引孩子的注意了，同时复习了以前所学过的单词。)
3、
Play a guessing game .
T: Look at the picture (课件挡住一部分)，Who is the man (woman)?
Ss :doctor 、 singer、taxi driver
（设计意图：运用猜谜的形式，符合孩子的心理,使用头脑风暴引入jobs ,激发孩子的思维。）
Step 2 Presentation
1、
Have students look at the screen .(交通警察站岗值班的视频)
T: Who is this ?
Ss:
T:Yes .He is a police officer .
(设计意图：创设真实的情境，让学生感受police officer 的意思。)
2、
TPR 教授单词。
3、
出示学生熟悉的“黑猫警长”的玩具。
T： DO you want to be a police officer ?
Ss:
T :I want to be a police officer. What about you ? (设计意图：在不知不觉中，输入本课句型，使学生对句型I want to be 有个整体感知。)
4、Show a picture of pilot.
T :What does the man do ?
Ss: He is a pilot .(设计意图： 用图片的形式呈现单词，形象，直观 ，省时)

、Ask the students to follow the teacher.
Chant : pilot,pilot,I want to be a pilot 。
6、Drive the train and have students read the words .
(设计意图： 以比赛的方式让孩子们读单词，避免了枯燥。)

3
Practice
1、
Play the tape ,Ss listen and point to the words one by one.
2、
Play the tape again. This time students listen and say.
3、
Play a game
幸运大转盘：请一位学生转大转盘，其他学生猜是什么职业，并用句型She is a ---和 He is a----进行回答。猜对的同学来转大圆盘。
4、
Play the PPT .
T

（设计意图： 由单词引入句型，启发孩子们回答： I want to be
a ---）
5、
Show the picture of Joy and Dam and ask the students :What are they talking about ?
6、
Play the tape.Ss listen and point .Then listen and say .
7、
Practice the dialogs in groups. After that ask students to go to the blackboard and act out.
(设计意图
： 让孩子表演对话，加深记忆。)
Step 4 Consolidation
1、
看图，完成书上第3题。
2、
请学生根据例句自编对话。同时鼓励学生说说其他的职业。如：postman.farmer,dancer 等。
3、
采访活动。

调查结果统计。

like your job .
7、
Sing a song .
(设计意图： 用歌声的形式对所学的新词和句型进行再次巩固。)

1、
listen to the tape twice .

Act out the dialogs with your parents .
