本课的教学是Unit 5的第5课时,内容在1AUnit 5 <Food and Drink> Do you want rice or bread ? I want some rice \ bread.的基础上有所拓展,都是关于Food的名称及在需求食物时所用的交际语。由原来的I want ---.延伸到What do you want ? I want ---.Do you want some candy, too? No, I dont. I want some…
The analysis of students:
本课的授课对象是一、二年级的孩子,虽然他们对英语已不在陌生且具有了最简单的听说能力,但形成良好的口语交际能力还需时间和大量语言的输入,为孩子创造一定的学说英语和用英语的环境---即贴近孩子生活范围的英语。本年段的学生年龄小,注意力集中时间较短,他们好玩好动,喜欢新奇的有趣的事物,所以针对他们的年龄特点,在教学中综合了游戏,TPR和情景教学法等充分调动他们的积极性和学习热情,让孩子们在快乐中进行英语学习。在前面四课时的大量food 的输入,孩子们已经知道The dog wants a bone. The monkey wants a peach. The goat wants some grass. The chicken wants some worms. The boy wants some chocolate. The girl wants some ice-cream.他们十分乐意表达出自己想要的食物。

Step1

Warm-up


1. Greetings
.
Hello! How are you?

2. Say and let Ss do. (Show me the carrot, show me the fish….)
3. Sing the song: Page 73.
4. Show the food on the screen and say: We have rice, we have bread. We have milk, we have juice…Do you want rice or bread?

通过简单而活跃的热身让孩子放松进入食物领域并达到学习的最佳状态,让孩子在不知不觉地开始思考,促进全体学生的学习。

Step2Revision activities

1Talk about the words of food and fruits.
2. Now, children, look here, I have bread and a pear. What do you have?
3. Have Ss say their words in groups and have a competition in each group.
4. Guessing game:
Show a nice bag on the screen say: I have a magic bag .It can hold a lot of food and fruits .Do you know what’s in the bag? Let the Ss guess “An orange, some grapes…?

通过活动使学生复习回顾已经学习过的单词。扩充词汇量,为后面的新知识学习构筑平台。画面图片上真实情景的展现,让学生在真实自然的语境中输出语言知识。猜一猜活动,培养了学生的注意力、观察力和想象力。

Step3. Presentation 

1. Point to the bag on the screen and say: There is another thing in the bag .It’s small, but sweet. (辅以表情动作。) .Can you guess what it is? Let the Ss guess. (点击画面,从袋子里飞出五颜六色的糖块)给予猜对的学生鼓励。Great, youre clever .Its candy. Teach candy.
2. I have much candy. Do you want some candy? Help Ss answer: Yes. I want some candy. 
(Teacher says with one or two students as a model. Then ask Ss work in pairs. Note candy –some candy.)
3. Teacher has a cookie in hand, ask the Ss to close their eyes and taste the cookie .Get them to guess what it is .Then open their eyes and see what it is .Teach “cookie”. Show some cookies, and tell them they are cookies.
4. Show some candy and cookies on the screen .Ask one student: I have candy and cookies. What do you want?” Help to answer; I want candy. Try to make a dialog:
A: What do you want?
B: I want...
A: Here you are.
B: Thank you.
5.Make a chant.(Show it on the screen )

No, I don’t.

1.Maybe someone says”糖果”in Chinese. Maybe someone says “candy”.
Then students repeat after the teacher.
2. Ss say in pairs.
3. Ss feel, look and say cookie, some cookies.
4. Students repeat after teacher .Then try to make a dialog in pairs by using their candy and cookie cards.
5. Ss chant after the teacher, and then chant together.
通过五个活动教授新知识,操练并掌握知识。1、利用信息差、表情、感觉等呈现新内容并引导学生理解新语言。2、设置真实的语言环境,使操练有意义。3、老师的语言输入转入学生的语言输出,由扶到放,由课堂到生活,孩子练得有有劲,很好地发挥了学生的能动性、主体性。4、老师适时的鼓励,调动了学生学习的积极性。5、朗朗上口的chant 让学生进一步巩固了知识内容。



Step4. 
Practice activities 

1. Let the Ss practice the dialog with their own food and fruits cards in pairs or in groups

A: What do you want?

B: I want...
A: Here you are.
B: Thank you.
2. Some pairs act it out in front of the class. 
3. Make a small supermarket on the teacher’s desk by using the objects. Divide the class into four groups. Have a pair in each group to act a dialog.
a).Seller: Hello! What do you want?
Buyer:
I want...

Seller: Here you are.
Buyer: Thank you.
b).Seller: Hello! Do you want some..?
Buyer:
Yes, I do.\No, I don’t .I want some….

Seller: Here you are.
Buyer: Thank you.
(Give the actors a smiling face.)
4. Sing the English song.
a). Play the tape, have Ss listen first.
b).Talk about the song, have Ss read the song.
c).Play the tape for Ss to listen and sing.
d).Have Ss sing together, in groups of boys and girls, or in small groups. 
1. Ss Practice skillfully by using their food cards…
2. Some pairs act out in front of the class.
3. Four pairs act out by using the real food they want. They can get a smiling face for their groups.




4. Ss listen, read and sing the song. Then sing in groups.
在模仿成句的基础上,创设真实情景,表达出真实意义的句子。这种任务实现了学生灵活掌握语言的目的。在操作过程中,以小组为单位,学生在有目的的活动中学习,实现了多形式的学习方式。在内容上,由词到句,由句到对话表达,学生的思维层次得到了发展。
歌曲包括了本课的重难点内容。通过听、读、唱等活动,学生接受了纯正的英语语音、语调,纠正了不正确的发音,训练了听力,培养了模仿能力和表演能力。

Step5.Consolidation and extension

1. A BINGO game.
a).Have Ss prepare six food cards and choose four of them. Put them in two lines, each line has two cards.
b).Teacher says the six words in irregular order. Ss listen and turn the word cards they hear. When the cards make a line, they can say out “BINGO” 
2. Make a survey 
a) .Show the survey form on the screen.
It’s time for breakfast. What do you want?

Divide the class into four groups.
Give the groups a few minutes to prepare the activity.
b). Have the groups act out in front.

通过游戏可以使学生对学过的英语单词的运用更加熟练。做调查的活动让学生对句型的运用更加熟练,结合小组比赛的形式让每个学生注意力高度集中,起到很好的操练效果。激发了积极思维,挖掘创造性使用语言的能力。

教学反思
在本课的导人上,力求简单清晰有条理。我首先利用旧单词、句型与学生进行交流问答,而后自然而然地过渡到新授的内容,使学生的情绪高涨,渐入学习的佳境。学生的思维随着新学内容的进展不断深化。环节设计合理、流畅,情境设计也恰如其分,学生在课堂中始终处于积极思考、乐于表达和讨论的良好状态中。
单词和句型的教学互相交融,随着情景的变化和示范操练,小组竞争活动,学生能顺畅地用英语进行全程学习。
    在对话教学中分解难点、逐层练习、降低难度。知识呈现清晰、练习扎实有效、创设较为真实的交际情境进行较为真实的交流。语言学习活动层次分为:教师演示----学生模仿----在教师指定的情境下进行替换操练----进行较为开放和自由的语言交流。学生都有所收获
    在具体教学环节中,学生的个体活动与集体活动,机械巩固性操练与相对自由的语言交流相互穿插,使学生参与活动面比较大,各层次的学生都有参与的机会和能力。
    多媒体的使用在渲染情境、新知呈现、强化新知、复习操练等环节中得到交好的使用。它成为教学中有机的一部分,是不可或缺的,真正起到推动教学、帮助学生学习的作用。
    在整个教学过程中都是以孩子为主体,让孩子们在玩中学,学中乐,学有所得。让学生充分走进英语,热爱英语。
