Lesson 11

一、Analysis of this lesson
本单元为1A的第二单元,学习有关动物的一些简单的单词、词汇,对话。通过课堂教学,让学生在轻松愉快的行动中输入语言,让他们在做中学习,在唱中学习,在表演中再学习,使学生能够在丰富多彩、生动有趣的课堂中感知语音,习得语言。本单元的教学设计也充分体现了低年级英语教学的原则。
二、Teaching aims
1. Master new words: panda, big, What about you? 
2. Sentences: I like the big panda. What about you? 

I like the little panda.


3. Emotional Education: Take good care of animals.

Step1. Greetings
T: Hello, everyone!
Ss: Hello, _________!
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
T: What day is today?
Ss: It’s. 

Step2. Warm –up


TBefore the new lessonLet’s sing a song, OKEveryone Stand up.

T: Follow me, show me your hands.
Little bearlittle bear, turn around. Little bear little bear, touch the ground. Little bear little bear, show your shoe. Little bear, little bearthat will do. (Teddy bear的音调唱)
Step3. Review (actions or cards)
T: Wonderful!
Now, let us play a game: I do
you say. Ok?
Rabbit, a little rabbit, monkey, a little monkey (T reviews the words by showing the actions one by one for 2 rounds, and add the action “panda” in the last round.) Ss will guess the animal. 

Step4. Presentation
1. T: Which animal has two dreams those are having a good sleep and taking a colorful picture? (什么动物的愿望是睡个好觉,拍张彩照?)

Ss: Panda. 


T: Yes, it’s a panda. Listen to the tape.

T: Now let’s play a game, high and low voice.

2. T shows a card about little panda and asks: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a little panda.


T: Yes, it’s a little panda. And where is Daddy?


T (with baby’s voice): Daddy, where are you?


T (with man’s voice): Baby. I’m here. I’m coming. I’m a big panda.

“big” (pronounce)→ practice (game): smooth reading (注意把控纪律)

Extension: a big hand/ a little hand, a big nose/ a little nose
3. T (doing actions): Look, I’m a big panda. Do you like me?

Ss: Yes. 


T (
引导学生)Follow me. I like the big panda.

Ss: I like the big panda.


T: Great. Show me your hands. And follow me. “I like the big panda.

Ss: I like the big panda. (Group by group read it). Clap hands and read


T: Excellent. I like the big panda. What about you? (T reads “what about you?” directly. T asks some Ss and helps them answer it with showing cards.)


Ss: I like the little panda.

4. Practice “I like the big panda&I like the little panda.”(show cards

Ask and answer between groups. (T makes example at first)

Step5. Conclusion
1. Revision: Put the contents of L8, L9, and L10 together. 
T: I have a little rabbit / monkey / bear / panda.

What do you have?

Ss: I have a little rabbit / monkey / bear / panda, too. 
T: I like the little (big) rabbit / monkey / bear / panda.

What about you?

Ss: I like the big (little) rabbit / monkey / bear / panda.
2. Emotional Education

T: My dear children, the panda is very cute. We should love them and love all the animals. 

Step6. Homework
1Listen to the tape of
L11 and read after it for 10 minutes everyday.

2Finish the exercise book of Lesson 11.
Conclude the competition final result and praise the Ss.
Step7. Dismissing
In the end, let us sing a song “Goodbye Teacher” (欢乐颂音调)

{教学反思}
1.
这堂课整体课堂纪律把控还比较不错。
2.
从教学内容上来说,由于新课的句型与前次课是一样的,所以学生掌握的还是比较快的;教授句子时,配合肢体动作,学生的反应更加热烈,所以今后的课在复习之前学过的动物时,要结合动作来复习操练,尤其是句子,趣味性强的动作学生很喜欢。
3.
预计教授的内容虽已完成,但个体操练的时间有点少,多在集体与分组操练上,组与组之间玩“ask and answer” 游戏时,学生对全英的指令还不够熟悉,反应不是很热烈,需要研究一下更容易令学生理解的简练的语言。
