一、教学内容
本单元教授一些动物的英语名称,并引导学生用英语介绍自己的小动物。本课时是该单元的第一课时,主要引导认读rabbit和a little rabbit 单词,并引导学生说出询问某人有什么动物的主要问答句型。
二、教学目标
1、知识目标:能够听、说、认读单词rabbit和a little rabbit。
2、能力目标:能够运用句型向别人询问有什么动物以及介绍自己的小动物。
3、情感目标:
(1)培养学生的观察能力和审美能力。
(2)培养学生的小组合作和竞争能力。
(3)培养学生学习英语的兴趣和自信心。
三、教学重点和难点
能够听、说、认读动物单词a little rabbit,并能够用英语询问对方和向别人介绍自己的动物。

五、教学过程
Step Warm-up
1、Greetings.
T:Good morning. Boys and girls’
Ss:Good morning, Miss Wu.
T:How are you?
Ss:Fine, thank you. And you?
T:Very well, thanks.
Z:Let’s chant.
T:I have a mouth.
Ss:Me too!
T:I have a nose.
Ss:Me too!
T:I have a book.
Ss:Me too!
设计意图:本环节设计目的是让学生人体部位及文具的单词,既吸引学生的注意力,让他们迅速进入上课状态,也唤醒学生对已学过单词的记忆,为下一环节用“What do you have? I have …”进行对话交流作铺垫。
Step 2. Presentation
(1)Present cat
Watch a part of video “Cat and Mouse”
T:Look, Cat and mouse are our good friends. Mew, Mew…(Let Ss say and do actions.)
Ss:Mew, mew, cat.
T:I have a cat. Now, show me your cat and say you have a cat.
Ss:Mew, Mew. I have a cat, too.
(2)Present rabbit
T:Now, close your eyes and touch, then imitate.
T:Can you guess what animal it is ?
Ss:兔子。
T:Let’s say together, rabbit.
Ss:(Show Ss the rabbit.) I have a rabbit. What about you?
Ss:I have a rabbit, too.
(设计意图:以cat 学生们熟悉的动物入手,过渡到rabbit,再慢慢地由单词过渡到句子,由易到难,这样容易被学生接受和掌握,随后学生模仿编对话,把“I have …”句型用上,达到巩固句型的目的。)
(3)Listen, Say and Do!
T:Mew, mew, cat, I am a cat. Gu, gu, rabbit, I am a rabbit.
Ss:Mew, mew, cat. I am a cat.(Do actions.) ……
(4)Find friends by looking and guessing. Show the animal body parts by CAI
A. a picture of a cat’s mouth.
B. a picture of a rabbit’s ears.
C. a picture of a little rabbit’s ears.
T:Who is it. Let’s find them out. If you find one. You should say, “I have a ____. ”Teach Ss to say I have a little rabbit.
(设计意图:引导学生对图片进行仔细观察比较,使他们认读rabbit, a little rabbit等单词让学生在乐中学,玩中思,也培养学生的观察能力和认知能力。)
Step 3. Practice
1、Let’s act out.
T:I have an animal band. Let’s act out to the music of my band!
Act like a cat; Act like a rabbit.
Act like a little rabbit.
(设计意图:通过音乐伴奏做动作,使学生进一步掌握本节课的主要单词。)
2、Guessing game.
T:We are singing and dancing. Are you happy? Now, it’s time for a game.
Rules:Work in groups of fine students. One looks at the picture and mimes; Then pass the action on to others. One by one. Then last student comes out with a sentence: “I am a ____.”
(设计意图:游戏是学生喜爱的活动之一。通过游戏活动进一步巩固本节课的内容;同时注重小组间的合作与交流,发挥英语的交际功能。)
Step 4. Consolidation

T:Now, Let’s be animals and talk.
Hello. I am a cat. Mew, mew.
Hello. I am a rabbit. Gu, gu.

(设计意图:这个环节让学生既有了学习英语的成就感,又增强了自信心,从而更好地理解本课内容。)
Step 5. Homework
1、Listen and read the animal words five times.
2、Let’s act out for your parents.
3、Love animals.
