Lesson 8
.Teaching concept
Interest is the best teacher. A good teacher must teach how to study well by pupils themselves,but not knowledge. I will make full use of a variety of ways to attract students’ interest, such as playing a game, having a chant, watching a video and so on. These ways are helpful to stimulate students’ interest and cultivate their confidence in learning English. I will create an authentic situation and I’ll try my best to encourage them say more using the key words and structure sentences.
.The analysis of the content and the student
The topic of the unit is about animals. Around this topic, the teacher can creates an authentic situation. The students are from Grade 1 , they have learned English for half a year. They know a little about English. So it is important for students to cultivate their confidence in learning English.
.Teaching Aims

Knowledge Aims: 
1.Students should be able to know “rabbit”, “little”,and “a little rabbit”. 
2.Students should be able to read and to understand “what” “do” “have ” “too” “jump”.
3.Students should be able to use the structure sentences “What do you have?” “I have a little rabbit”.
b. Ability Aims: 

Students should be able to listen and answer.

c. Emotional Aims: 
1. Students should be able to cooperate and communicate with others in group work.

2. Students will be more interested in English .

Step1 Warm Up
1. Greet as usual.
2.(CAI)Play a game : Show a part of animals to guess.

T: Look, these are animals. Can you guess?


S: ……

设计意图:与学生亲切问候,复习旧知又营造了一个轻松、浓厚的语言氛围。游戏的形式导入新知,吸引了学生的注意力,提高学生的学习兴趣。
Step2 Presentation  Practice
1. Show a hand puppet.

T: Boys and girls, look, what’s this?


Ss: 兔子。


T: Yesit’s rabbit.

2. The students act like rabbits and read it loudly.
3. Hold the hand puppet and say “Hello, boys and girls.”Then lead the students to say “Hello! Rabbit.”
4. CAIShow some pictures of rabbits. 

T: What’s this?


Ss: Rabbit.


T: It’s a rabbit. It’s a little rabbit. Look, this is little. That is big.

设计意图:通过教师进行的各种趣味示范,演示,引导学生学习新的单词,并在学习新知中进行操练,关注学生的发音,掌握本课的新知识。
Step 3 Practice
1. Show kinds of rabbits.

T: What’s this? 


Ss: Rabbit./ A little rabbit.

2. Play a game. (开火车)
设计意图:通过优势提高学生的学习兴趣和注意力,让学生在真实的愉快的气氛中操练单词。
Step4 Presentation and Practice
1.T: I have a rabbit. (Take a toy rabbit.)
I have a book.
I have a nose.
What do you have?
Pick up a book and say “I have a book.” Lead the students to say “I have a book”
T: Oh, you have a book,too.
2. Practice using the part of body.

T: I have a nose. What do you have?


S: I have a nose,too.


T: I have a mouth. What do you have?


S: I have a mouth,too.

设计意图:用现实中可以摸得到的看得见的五官来操练句型,将句型应用于生活,使学生获得深刻体验。
Step 5 Consolidation
1. T: Now I have a rabbit. Can you draw a rabbit?
2. Pair work.
设计意图:引导学生通过学过的身体部位以及新知 rabbit,进行单词句型会话,达到熟练掌握单词和句型的目的。
Step 6 Homework
1. Listen and read after class.
2. Tell your parents about your picture.
设计意图:作业是课堂教学的延伸,将学习主动权交给学生,培养学生综合语言运用能力。
