一、能力目标：
1、能听懂、会说本课所学身体部位词汇。
2、能在相应情境中听懂所学的形容词及其反义词。
3、能运用所学的形容词描述生活中的人物和事情。
4、能在听、说、唱、演活动中发展学生的语言能力。
二、知识目标：
1、能听懂、会说tail、long、short.
2、能理解并能初步运用有关描述事物外观的句型:
The monkey has a long tail.
The rabbit has a short tail.
三、教学重点：
1、Vocabulary:
1）掌握单词3个：tail、long、short
2) 复习有关动物和身体部位的单词。
2、Sentences:
The monkey has a long tail.
The rabbit has a short tail.
四、教学难点：
1、单词tail 的读音
2、动词has 的运用

1、课本图片
2、多媒体课件
六、教学过程
Step I、Warm-up
1、Greetings.
2、Play a game: Simon says.
Touch your nose/mouth/head/ ears/eyes.
Nod your head.
Wave your hand.
Clap your hands.
Stamp your feet.
（通过游戏复习所学有关身体部位的单词）
Step II、Presentation
1、Show some pictures about animals and ask: What’s this? Help students answer: It’s a monkey/rabbit/ bear/elephant/tiger/panda.
2、Have students look and say: What’s this? It’s a mouth. Help students say: The monkey has a mouth.
3、Point at the tail, have students learn the word “tail”.
4、Have students look at the pictures and ask: Who has a tail?
Help students answer: The rabbit has a tail. The monkey has a tail.
5、Have students look at the picture about tails and have them find the difference between them.
6、Have students learn the words: long, short. （带读单词时可用手势来加深学生的记忆）
7、Show students the real things: long hair and short hair; a long ruler and a short ruler （通过让学生找身边长短的对比物巩固所学单词）
8.
Have students look at the picture and ask: Who has a long tail? Who has a short tail? （根据图片的形象对比，学生能很快说出所学句型）
Step III、Practice
1、Have students open the books, turn to page 50, lesson 22, listen and repeat.
2、Watch a VCR and play a game.
Who has a long nose? ( the elephant / the bear)
Who has a long nose? (the rabbit / the tiger)
Who has short hair? (the boy / the girl)
Who has a short pen? (the boy / the girl)
（通过游戏巩固了所学句型）
3、Have students do part 3 on page 55.
Step IV、Wrap-up
1、Listen and sing.
2、Homework:
1）Listen to lesson 22.
2）Have students do workbook.
