《How many months are there in a year》教学设计
一、教材依据：
本课是清华版小学英语4B中的第22课关于季节和月份的内容的第一课时内容。
二、设计思想：
本教材从学生学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发，通过体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式，发展学生语言综合运用能力；因此教学设计可利用多媒体课件及各种教具、学具，活跃课堂气氛，提高学生学习兴趣和教学效果；本设计努力营造多种适合学生学习的情境，使学生在愉快的心理体验中掌握所学知识。
三、三维目标：
知识与能力：
1、掌握词汇
学生能够听懂、读说下列词汇：January、February、 March、April、May、June、July、August、September、October、November、 December.
2、句型：
下列句型应做到四会：
（1）How many seasons are there in a year ? There are four seasons in a year.
（2）How many months are there in a year ? There are twelve months in a year.
（3）能听懂会用短语
Here are the names of the months .
Twelve months make a year.
过程与方法：
1.谈话导入新课
2.领读、提问等方式教学生认识单词、了解单词意思。
3.用游戏的方法巩固记忆单词。
4.反复提问使学生熟练掌握句型。
5.表演对话巩固本课句型。
情感、态度与价值观：
1.通过学习，提高学生的交际运用能力。
2.利用课件教学，增强课堂的趣味性，提高学生的学习兴趣。
3.使学生受到热爱四季，热爱大自然的教育。
四、教学重点：
学习几个表示月份的词汇：January、February、 March、April、May、June、July、August、September、October、November、 December.
五、教学难点：
1. 正确认读并按序说出表示月份的词汇： January、February、 March、April、May、June、July、August、September、October、November、 December.
2. 掌握句型
How many months are there in a year? There are twelve months in a year.

八、教学准备：
（1）日历一份； （2）月份的单词卡十二张； （3）多媒体课件。
九、教学过程
一、热身导入
师生之间互相问好、交流天气状况和最喜欢的季节复习热身，为本课月份的词汇学习做铺垫。教师通过和学生交流T: How’s the weather today? What’s your favorite season? 等话题，引导学生用2B Unit4学过的句子（I like spring. It’s warm in spring. I can go picnic.
I like summer. The weather is hot. I can go swimming.
I can go to the beach. I can eat ice cream. I like autumn. The weather is cool. I like winter. The weather is cold. I can make snowmen…）来回答。
教师接过话题T: There are four seasons in a year. 通过问题How many months are there in a year? Do you know? 导入新课Let’s learn Lesson 22 . How many months are there in a year ? 板书课题
【设计意图】：复习导入具有承上启下的作用。这样的设计，建立在复习与新知识相关的旧知识的基础上，使新旧知识之间建立一种联系，自然地进入对新知识的学习。
二、新授
1.学习单词
教师出示一本月历引导学生理解课题How many months are there in a year?，用There are twelve months in a year.回答。板书There are twelve months in a year.领读（注意months的读音）。
【设计意图】：How many …?问句和There be句型在前几册书中出现过，有的学生可能遗忘了。月历的使用不仅可以帮助学生很快理解它们的意思，还能直接猜到month的意思，避免借助汉语翻译。
T: Now we know there are twelve months in a year. Can you name them? Let’s look at the screen. 直接出示所有月份图片和单词的课件。补充说明Here are the names of the months. 并把句子There are twelve months in a year.和Here are the names of the months. 加在图片上方。
T: Now listen carefully. 按序播放月份单词的读音（图片上相应单词放大跳出显示出来）。
T: Listen and repeat. （课件逐个出示月份图片和单词）。
T: Can you read it? 按序拿出月份的单词卡，鼓励学生试着读出来。发音有困难的，教师带读。把单词卡逐一排放在黑板上（四行三列，为chant做准备）。
T: Listen and chant.(课件播放节奏很强的音乐，教师对应黑板上四行三列排放的月份单词卡示范chant)，操练。

【设计意图】：用chant的方法巩固单词，能激发学习兴趣。本课月份单词集中出现，量很大，且好几个单词的发音有点难度，平常的教法不能完成学习任务。朗朗上口的chant使学生的学习变得轻松愉快，有助于重难点的突破。
2、教授对话
利用多媒体教学及课件讲解课文、重点词、短语基本句型。
1、课件出示How many months are there in a year?
T: How many months are there in a year? （边说边写在黑板的正上方 ) Ss: Twelve. T: Yes. Twelve months make a year. （边说边板书 )
2、课件出示不同画面，引导学生依次回答出以下问题：
How many students are there in the class?
How many stars are there in our national flag?
How many gates are there in the school?
3、同桌两个互换角色练习第二部分（P51）对话。
4、表演对话。
【设计意图】:创设一种开放, 和谐, 积极互动的语言活动氛围, 创设真实语言环境.，让学生体验用英语交流的快乐和自豪感.，从而自然地不知不觉地沉浸其中, 增强语感, 同时也渗透练习了本节课的重点内容。课件选取的画面为活动手册上的练习扫除了障碍。
三、作业布置
1.用chant形式朗读本课新词。 2.完成活动手册Lesson22(P43- P44)内容。

教学反思
1、本节课利用多媒体教学，充分调动了学生学习积极性，让学生在快乐、轻松的环境中充分掌握所学知识。学生对月份的单词已掌握，并能运用所学词汇进行自由对话。同时，掌握如何提问一年有多少个月，并做出回答。
2、本节课充分体现了多媒体教学的直观优势,达到教与学的双优效果。
3、在上课开始给孩子们营造一种轻松愉快的课堂氛围，增进师生之间的情感交流，使学生进入一种自然而真实的语言状态。创设一种开放,、和谐,、积极互动的语言活动氛围，努力产生一种融入式的真实语言环境.。让学生体验用英语交流的快乐和自豪感，从而自然地不知不觉地沉浸其中， 增强语感,，同时也渗透了本节课的重点内容。的运用chant为学生提供有助于学生正确模仿，强化记忆。同时, 有了层次铺垫，帮助学生更好的理解句子。这些方法都可以很好的调动学生学习英语的积极性，使英语课堂更有趣、更高效。
