Lesson 20


Teaching aims:
1.
Students can understand and use the words: snow, snowy, snowman.

2.
Students can understand and say the dialog.

3.
Students can sing the song: It’s snowy today…

4.
Let the students know how to protect ourselves when we go outside.

Teaching importance
1.
Students can understand and use the words: snow, snowy, snowman, make a snowman, in the snow.

2.
Review the sentences: It’s… today.
Let’s….

Teaching difficulties:
1.
The different of snow and snowy.

2.
The sentences: Let’s make a snowman. Let’s go play in the snow.

Teaching tools:
Tape, pictures, cards, tape recorder, a big paper snowman.
Teaching methods: TPR, CA, etc.

Teaching steps:
Part 1: Revision
1.
Listen and sing the song of P43.

2.
Review the words and dialogs by the pictures. (
为第三项听力练习做铺垫)
T: How’s the weather today?
S: It’s nice/hot/ windy/ today.
T: What can we do?
S: Let’s…. (教师同时出示图片并按第三项练习顺序贴与黑板右侧)
设计意图:复习与天气相关的词句,为新课做铺垫,问答内容结合后面听力所需图片,一举两得。
Part 2 New Presentation and Practice
1.
T: I have a riddle, please guess what is it? (
说像糖,它不甜;说像盐,它不咸;冬天有时一片;夏天谁都不见。)
Ss: Snow. 
设计意图:用迷语引出新词,同时调动学生学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。
T: Yes, it’s snow. (出示图片) What color is it? 
Ss: It’s white.
T: The snow is white. Snow, snow. (教师示范发音,学生模仿并跟读。)

 Let’s look at the sky, how the weather today?
S: It’s snowy today.
T: (Sing the song.) Snowy, snowy, it’s snowy today.
Ss listen and sing.
设计意图:歌曲贯穿于教学中,既易于学生接受,又为歌曲学习做准备。
3. T: It’s snowy today. Look at the snow. Let’s make a snowman. (板书句子)

Ss: OK. Let’s go.

T: I have a gift. It’s white. Guessplease. What’s it? (Snowman)
T shows the picture and read. Ss follow, and then listen to the tape. Ss read individually.
4. Game 1.Listen and point. (Snow, snowy, snowman)

Firstly, T read words, have 2 Ss come to the blackboard and point; Then Ss look at the T’s mouth, guess the words, read them loudly, the 2Ss listen and point. 

设计意图:通过听指练习,使学生更加清楚snow, snowy, snowman读音,意义的区别,全体学生看口形猜词发口令,集体参与。
5.
Dialog.

T: It’s snowy today. What can we do? Let’s go play in the snow. Let’s make a snowman, OK? (板书句子听录音,仿读句子 
T: (T shows a big paper snowman, put the paper snowman onto the blackboard.) Look at the snowman, it has no eyes, mouth and nose. Let’s make a nice snowman.

Game 2: Make a snowman.

教师出示雪人的眼睛,鼻子和嘴的小图片,邀请能说出Let’s make a snowman.并说得好的学生上讲台贴一贴,上台学生被蒙住眼睛,而且要在其余学生说三遍Let’s make a snowman.的时间内完成。三种器官分三组贴完。
设计意图:该游戏创设情境充分调动学生积极性,学生既练说句子,又运用了该句。

Game 3: 1, 2, 3 game.

  教师一手指向黑板上的句子,大声读出,另一只手出示1(学生静听),2(学生模仿教师口形,不发出声音),3(学生大声朗读)。
设计意图:学生在进行游戏中,一边要仔细听老师的示范,一边又要观察老师的手势,注意力会高度集中,练说句子避免了枯燥的机械操练。
6.
Listen and number.
教师先请学生齐读黑板上的词句,然后教师朗读,请一名学生在黑板上听音标号,其余学生在课本上12两部分中标号,最后订正答案。
设计意图:及时听音标号,帮助学生能更好的认识句子,多听句子,为开口说打下基础。
7.
再听一遍录音,学生跟读,注意模仿语音语调。 学生分角色朗读对话;教师与一学生表演对话;Pair work; 对话表演。
Part 3: Consolidation
1.
Listen and match. (P 45)

请一名学生在黑板上连线,其余学生在课本上完成,集体订正答案。
2.
Listen and sing.

播放音乐,学生听唱歌曲 “It’s snowy today.” 一边根据歌词内
做动作。
设计意图:通过歌曲总结本课内容,在轻松的音乐声中结束新课。
Homework:
1.
听录音跟读本课词句三遍。
2.
用英语邀请你的家人和朋友一起去玩雪吧!

教学反思:这堂课中有各种活动设计,学生活动兴趣很高;在教学时词与句相结合,循序渐进;雪人的设计和出现在课堂上一起了一个小高潮,学生踊跃参加,教学效果好;练习在热身活动中提前出现,为练习做好了铺垫,学生做题反馈效果较好;但这堂课中带学生读的时间少了,应加些多种形式的朗读设计,歌曲还可以用不同词句替换演唱,将歌曲唱透。
