Teaching aims and demands:
1.Learn the new words
friends, duck, swan, happy, sad.
2.Learn the new sentences:
The swan is happy.
The duck is sad.
Why are you so sad?
I have no friends.
Let’s be friends!
Teaching difficults:

Teaching materials:
Tape recorder, head decorations, CAI课件
Teaching procedures: 
1.Warm up and revision:
a. Greeting
b. Sing a song for the students
(通过热身运动,使学生很快进入英语学习状态。因为这是一节送教课,同时也拉近了师生间的距离,为后边的学习起到了铺垫作用。)
2.  New Lessons Presentation
a. When sing the song teacher shakes hands with 2 students and let them to the Bb.
b. T says: I find 2 friends. Then teach the word ‘friend’.(从歌曲自然过渡到新单词,并与语境紧密联系。)
c. T says: I want to make more friends. Let’s be friends, ok?(通过交朋友的方式导入新句型,使学生感到轻松亲切。)
d. T says: I have many friends. I am happy. Teach the word ‘happy’.(从朋友巧妙地导入到“开心”这个单词。)
3. Practice
a. Ss read the words after T. Then they read the words one by one.
b. T gives her friends some masks and asks: Are you happy? Let Ss say: I am happy.
4.  Presentation
a. T takes out of the mask of swan and teaches Ss to read it.(通过面具教学增加了课堂教学的生动性,也提高了学生的学习兴趣。)
b. T ask the student: Are you happy? When the student says ‘yes’, T says: The swan is happy.
c. Use the same way to teach ‘duck’.
d. Ask Ss: Is the duck happy? Lead Ss to say: No. The duck is sad.
5.   Practice
Ss read the words and sentences after T, then they read them one by one.
6.   Presentation
a. T says: Are you sad? Most Ss say ‘no’. Then T says: We are all happy. Why is the duck so sad? Let me ask it. Then Ss asks the student who wears the duck mask: Why are you so sad, little duck? If the student can’t answer it, T can hide behind the student and answer it.(通过与学生童话式的对话表演可以加深学生的印象,增强童真童趣。)
7 .  Let’s read!
a. T asks more Ss to be the little duck and let the whole class ask them the question.
b. Ss listen to the tape and read the words and sentences after it.
c. T asks some pairs to read the dialogue.
d. Ss work in pairs to practice the dialogue.
8.  Let’s role-play
a. Ss role- play the dialogue.
b. T make up a dialogue and ask more Ss to role-play it.(give more animal masks to them)
S1: Why are you so sad, little rabbit?
S2: I have no friends.
S1: Let’s be friends, OK?
S2: Ok.
S1 and S2: Why are you so sad, little bear?
S3: I have no friends.
S1 and S2: Let’s be friends, ok?
S3: Ok.
(通过与森林里更多伤心的小动物交朋友来拓展延伸对话,同时教会小朋友们之间要互助友爱。)
8.  Ss read a chant after T.
9.  Ss learn to sing an English song.(总结所学内容并放松心情)
10.  Homework:
a. Sing the song to your parents.
b. Draw some animals you like, then color them.
(请学生回家将在校所学的歌曲唱给自己的家人听,既复习了所学内容,又提高了学生学习英语的兴趣,让孩子们体验到成功的快乐。)
