本教材以发展学生的语言实践能力为主线,突出语言的交际功能及其工具性特点;以培养学生用英语进行交际功能为最终目的,注意学生学习兴趣的培养。本节课通过肢体及面部表情的活动,培养学生初步的运用英语进行交流的能力。培养学生的观察力、和想象力的能力,发展学生综合运用语言的能力。

新单词,新句型,以及正确表达自己的情感。

Step 1
Warming-up

Step 2
New lesson

T: Are you happy today?
S: Yes!
T: Great! I’m very happy, too. (做出开心的表情) Look, this is my examination paper, I got 100 scorts. So I’m very very happy. 出示卡片happyRead after me, happy…
S: happy…
T: 出示幻灯片Look at the boy, from his face we can know that “The boy is happy, very happy.”(引导学生自己说出来)
S: The boy is happy , very happy.
T: 通过提问的方式请一些同学起来回答,对happy的发进行检测Are you happy today?
S: Yes , I’m happy.
T: Great, so many students are happy now. What do you do when you are happy?用幻灯片显示问题When I am happy, I smile or dance. Please look at my face(做出微笑的表情)smile”(出示卡片,带读)
T: When I am happy , I smile or dance.(跳舞的动作,让学生一目了然,再出示卡片,带读
对刚学的三个新词进行简单操练。
T: Now please touch the card and say the word. (老师快速走过学生,让学生轻拍卡片并大声读出上面的单词,尽量让每个学生都参与进来)What do you do when you are happy?
S: I smile or dance.
T: Now I am an interviewer, I want to ask some students. (老师拿出事先准备好的话筒,走下去对部分学生进行采访,引导学生回答I smile or dance. 同时在不停的对问句What do you do when you are happy?进行输入,加深学生的印象。然后对此句分段输入,以让学生接句子的方式如 
T: What do you do when you are …
S: happy
T: What do you do when …
Syou are happy.

S: do you do when you are happy
T:…(老师指着句子不发出声音)
S: What do you do when you are happy?
T; Good ! Now all the boys are interviewer, and all the girls are interviewee. (男女分组问答,操练句型

T: Please look at this examination paper, I just got 50 scorts. I am sad , very sad.
(用和上面相同的方法对sad ,cry I cry or talk to my mother. 进行讲解。)

Step 3
Practice 

Write the new words on the blackboard.
Game 
a. I do you say (Teacher does actions and students guess the words.)
b. I say you do (Teacher says the words and students do actions.)

Step 4 Wrap- up
Sing an English song “If you are happy’’(播放动画音乐,在轻松愉快的歌声和舞蹈中结束本堂课程。)

Step 5 Homework
Students prepare some stories to play by themselves.
