教学内容:

1.Words: rabbit turtle fast slow

2.Dialogs: Who is fast? The rabbit is fast.



Who is slow? The turtle is slow.

教学目标:

知识目标:能理解并会说rabbit turtle fast slow

                   能运用Who is fast/slow?句型对话

情感目标:通过运用多媒体、TPR、情景教学、游戏比赛等教学手段,增强小学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性,切实提高听说能力,并能和实际生活结合。

教学用具:多媒体课件 卡片 头饰

教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

1.Greeting

2.Review the words. Have individuals look at the pictures and read the words. (CAI)(出现一个动物园,里面有多种可爱的动物图像和英文单词,复习所学过的动物词汇,不仅为下面要教授的新的动物单词做铺垫,也引出学生的兴趣。)

Step 2 Presentation and practice new words

1.Make a choice. (CAI)(通过用以前学过的句子编类似谜语的选择题来引出新单词,配上插图)

It has long ears.

It has a short tail.

It can jump.

It’s a ___.

A. rabbit

B. turtle

2. Teach “rabbit”“turtle”

(1) Hold up the cards and read. (可以用充分使用肢体语言body language) Then paste the cards on the blackboard.

(2) Ask individuals to read the words.(让学生充分使用他们的肢体语言来边说边表演着两个单词,引起兴趣,加强记忆, 可用师指或做动作,生说,或反过来,也可用生生比赛的方法来练习听说认读单词)

3. Teach “fast”“slow”

(1) Appreciate a short cartoon. Then ask: Who is fast? Who is slow? (如果学生不理解,可使用肢体语言) (CAI) (观看龟兔赛跑的短片,在学生感兴趣的同时,通过问题的形式来教授新单词,顺便引出句型,将问句贴在黑板上)

(2) Hold up the cards and read “fast” “ slow”. (可以用充分使用肢体语言) Then paste the cards on the blackboard.

(3) Ask individuals to read the words.

4. Look at the book. Listen and read.

Step 3 Presentation and practice new sentences

1.Point to the rabbit and turtle cards and ask: Who is fast? Who is slow? Have the students practice to say: The rabbit is fast. The turtle is slow.

2.Look at the screen. Practice the sentences. (通过对不同人或物的比较来练习并加深对句子的理解和掌握,运用多媒体技术让学生不再枯燥学习句型)

3.Have students ask and answer in groups. Then check the answers.(给学生一些快慢对比的卡片,让他们练习对话, 并在黑板上将答案归类, 还可以让学生自己说些快慢的物体)

4.Do the third part of this lesson. Then check the answers

Sept4 Sing a song

Listen and sing. (让学生边做边唱,可以分角色演唱)

Step5 Play a game

1. Who is fast? Who is slow?(让学生戴上头饰扮演龟兔赛跑,在活动中加深所学习的知识)

2.可以拓展到其他的比赛,如整理桌子,穿鞋子等等,根据时间而定。

Step6 Wrap-up

Sing a song again. (在歌声中结束,可以将刚才获胜的学生的名字替换进去)

Step7 Homework

1.Listen and read.

2.Do a survey.
