Lesson 8
教学分析:2B教材属于“清华一条龙”的教学第一阶段,为语音语调的输入阶段,内容包括“听、说、演、练”,以“快乐学习”为宗旨,着重培养学生的学习兴趣,培养学生正确的语音语调,让学生快乐地学习,并体味学习的快乐,本课学习的单词不多,两个动物类单词duck,swan和两表情类单词happy,sad,及句子The swan is happy. The duck is sad.这是学生感兴趣的内容,学生学起来比较容易,但要把这些词运用到实际情景中就有难度了,特别是长句子Why are you so sad, little duck?的教学,就要运用一定的教学手段,激发学生的学习欲望,努力学好这一内容。
教学策略:俗话说:兴趣是最好的老师。小学生的学习过程主要受兴趣的支配,所以教学中教师要从儿童好动、好玩、好奇心强的心理特点出发采取灵活多样的教学形式,调动学生的学习兴趣,丰富课堂内容,提高效率。在本课教学中,我主要运用的方法是:1.多媒体教学2.竞赛3.角色扮演。多媒体教学能直观地演示所学内容,让学生学得更有趣、更简约。通过竞赛,锻炼学生的思维能力,反应能力,培养了竞争意识,也使学生充分练习了所学语言。学生的表演可以使所学知识得到真实地运用,进一步激发学生的学习兴趣,感染和带动更多的学生喜爱英语,并积极主动地投入到浓浓的英语学习的氛围中来。
Teaching Aims:
1、能听懂、会说本课中出现的两个动物类名词duck、swan和两个表情类形容词happy、sad. 及句子The swan is happy. The duck is sad.
2、能听懂、会说本课的问答句:Why are you so sad, little duck? I have no friends和Why are you so happy? I hare a new dress.
3、学生能够理解课本中主人翁happy 与sad的原因,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
4、学生两人一组,能够分角色表演本课的对话。
5、学生会唱并能表演本课的歌曲《The swan is happy》

一、Warm Up
1、Greetings:
T: Hello, boys and girls! Glad to see you!
S: Glad to see you , too.
T: Today, I’m very happy. Look, I have a new dress. Am I nice?
S: Yes.
T: So I’m happy.
2、Listen to a song
T: Now listen and clap our hands (播放英文歌曲If you’re happy, clap your hands. 边和全班同学一起拍手)
If you’re happy, clap your hands.
If you’re happy, stamp your feet. …
二、Revision:(快速抢答——教师出示第一单元主要内容的幻灯片让学生快速用英语说出它的名称)
T: Now let’s review. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes!
出示PPT图片:
1.What’s this?
S: “A cup of coffee”
T:Yes, good! (给最先正确说出的同学贴一个笑脸)
2. (图片)
S:“A pair of scissors”
T: Yes, great!(给最先正确答出的同学贴一个笑脸

T: Good job! Give you a happy face. Are you happy?
S: Yes.

S: (在老师的帮助下)I have a happy face.(把得到的笑脸拿起给大家看)
T: (问旁边没有得到笑脸的同学)Are you happy?

T:No, you are not happy. You are sad. 教师拿出两张图片happy和sad.
三、Presentation and Practice
1.教学单词happy与sad
⑴ 语音,happy与sad两个单词中的字母“a”都发/æ/音,要求学生发音时,嘴巴必须张开,发准这两个单词happy↗↘sad↗↘.
⑵ 做出开心的动作与表情,I’m happy.
ⅹⅹ is happy.
做出悲伤与掉泪的表情,I’m sad.
ⅹⅹ is sad.
(3)Chant:Happy,happy.
ⅹⅹ(学生名)is happy.
Sad ,sad.
ⅹⅹ (学生名)is sad.
(循环快速地说,说到谁,谁做出相应的表情。)
(4)PPT图片,练习ⅹⅹ is happy. ⅹⅹ is sad.
2.教学单词duck与swan.及句型The swan is happy. The duck is sad.
Why are you so happy/sad?
出示PPT,listen and guess:
①Sounds:Miau!“Cat!”(出示图片,最先正确认出的奖励一个笑脸)
②Sounds: Wang! Wang!“Dog!”(最先正确认出的奖励一个笑脸)
③Sounds: Quack! Quack! (放事先录制好的“鸭”的叫声)
T: What’s this? Is it a cat? Is it a monkey?
S: No. (在教师的引导下) It’s a duck.
T: 出示PPT图片,Look, is the duck happy?
S: No, it’s sad.
T: Yes, it’s sad. The duck is sad.
Why is the duck so sad? Look at the picture.
PPT. (一只鸭子看着同伴在水中嬉戏,没人埋它)
T: We ask the duck:
Why are you so sad, little duck?
Ss: Why are you so sad, little duck?
PPT声音——人机对话:I have no friends.
T: Oh, because this duck has no friends. Boys and girls. Do you have many friends?(噢,原来这只鸭子没有朋友。同学们,你们有许多朋友吗?)
S1: Yes, I have many friends. So I’m happy.( 在老师帮助下回答,回答好的,给他贴上一个笑脸)
S2: No, I don’t have many friends. So I’m sad.( 回答得好,给他贴上一个笑脸)
PPT: 屏幕上出现一只美丽的天鹅:
T: What’s that? Is it a duck, too?
Ss: No.
T: No, it’s not a duck. It’s more beautiful than a duck. We can ask what name it is.(不,它不是只鸭子,它比鸭子美丽,我们问问它叫什么名字)
Ss: 大声What’s your name?
PPT声音——人机对话:My name is a swan.
T: A swan: 教学单词swan. 此单词中的字母a发/ɒ/,示范/ swɒn/,学生开火车说这个单词,分别给发音正确的一个或几个学生贴上笑脸。
T: PPT. Look at the picture. Is the swan sad?
Ss: No. It’s happy.
The swan is happy.
T: Why is the swan so happy? Do you know? Guess, please.
S1: It is nice.
(Give him/her a happy face.)
S2: It’s beautiful. (Give him/her a happy face)

3. Listen to the tape. Then read after it.
4. Do it in pairs!
①、Why are you so sad, little duck?
I have no friends.
②、Have a race. 请几组同学表演这段对话,对发音正确、表演相像的一组贴上一颗笑脸,对不看书能表演正确的一组同学贴上两颗笑脸。
5. Talk about it.
通过创设不同的情景,使学生理解并运用今天所学的主要句型Why are you so sad/happy? 两人一组表演,由同学们选出表演好的一组,奖励笑脸。
情景1 (书上图):一个小女孩,手提一件新买的连衣裙,喜笑颜开的。
S1: Why are you so happy?
S2: I have a new dress.
情景2 (书上图):一个小朋友与其他小朋友一起玩耍很开心:
S3: Why are you so happy?
S4: I have many friends.
情景3 (书上图):一只美丽的黄鸟在天空中自由自在地飞翔,另一只树上的鸟问:
S5: Why are you so happy?
S6: I can fly in the sky.
情景4 (书上图):其他小朋友在一起跳绳,玩得很高兴,一个小朋友却孤单地在旁边伤心:
S7: Why are you so sad?
S8: I have no friends.
情景5 (书上图):一只猴子饿极了,它很想吃香蕉:
S9: Why are you so sad?
S10: I have no bananas.
情景6 (书上图):一只乌龟与兔子在赛跑,可是它脚步很慢,因此很沮丧:
S11: Why are you so sad?
S12: I am slow.
6. 拓展生活中的情景
情景1)妈妈给你买了你最喜爱吃的水果葡萄,你很兴奋:
Mother:Why are you so happy, my dear?
Son:I have many grapes.
情景2)天冷了,爸爸给你买了一双漂亮的保暖手套,你笑了:
Father:
Why are you so happy, my daughter?
Daughter:I have a pair of gloves.
情景3)有一天,小明把自己的铅笔弄丢了,上课时,没有铅笔写字了,很难过:
Teacher:Why are you so sad, Xiaoming?
Xiaoming:
I have no pencils.
以上情景对话中,对于表演好的一组贴上一个笑脸。
7. Learn the song.
1)Read this song. (让同学们看着书,把歌词齐读一遍)
2)Listen and clap. (让学生静静地听一遍,并跟着节奏轻轻地打拍子)
3)Let’s sing. (先跟录音机小声地唱一遍,感觉一下,再大声唱这首歌)
4)Sing the song. (请几个唱得好的同学,到前台表演唱)
8. Sun up (小结):1)今天学了四个单词duck, swan, happy, sadey及句型The swan is happy. The duck is sad.

2)Let’s count. How many happy faces are there in your group? Let’s see. Which group is a winner?
四、Homework:
1、听录音、跟读本课的单词和句子10分钟
2、复习本课,能够把本课所学内容教会爸爸、妈妈及周围好朋友,让他们听懂会说。
3、在实际生活中看到爸爸、妈妈或朋友的不同表情时能主动进行问话:Why are you so sad/happy?
4、预习Lesson 9.

通过本课教学,学生能够较好的掌握本课的主要内容The swan is happy. The duck is sad. Why are you so sad / happy? I … 上课时,通过多媒体教学,尤其是人机对话,极大地刺激了学生的视觉、听觉感官,牢牢地吸引了他们的注意力,有力地调动了他们参与的积极性。通过大量的课堂活动(如众多的情景交流),激发了学生的学习热情,增强了学生的学习兴趣,让学生学得很松驰,能在轻松、愉快的氛围中掌握所学内容,效果较好。老师所给的拓展内容,贴近生活,使学生在生活中碰到类似情况,会不由自主想到我们今天所学的句子,并会努力地去说,开拓了学生学习的思维。
