六.Teaching Procedures

Step 1: Greeting

Step 2: Warm up and Review

A.Let’s chant.

(带领学生一起说Chant,并且加上动作进行表演。邀请个别学生单独表演,给予鼓励。)

B.Let’s sing a song.

(让学生一起唱前面所学的歌曲,并进行表演。)

Step 3: Introduction: vocabulary and sentences

A.Show the pictures to student and say (CAI)

B.Teach the word panda students read after the tape and write it on the blackboard.

C.Take out the picture

T: Look this is a panda .It’s a big panda.

Ss: A big panda.

A big panda

D.Listen to the tape and read after the tape then write it on the blackboard.

E.Take another picture

T: Is it a big panda? No, it’s a little panda.

Ss: A little panda. A little panda.

F.Listen to the tape and read after the tape then write on the blackboard

Step 4: Dialog Practices

A.Put some animals pictures on the blackboard choose one picture and say “ I like the big rabbit.”

B.One student come to the blackboard choose one picture and say “I like the …”

C.Teacher choose one picture and give an example to students

T: I like the big bear. What about you?

Ss: I like the little bear.

D.Listen to the tape and read after the tape.

E.Work in pairs to practice the dialog.

F.Students come to the blackboard and act the dialog.

(表演的好的学生给予奖励)

G.Sing the song with actions.

H.Chant together.

I.Homework

1.搜集动物卡片并将名称教给家长。

2.听录音

八.Teaching Notes:

   本课所学的单词在前面的课文中接触过所以学生在接受方面不存在太多问题,学生大部分能反馈出来。通过chant的形式很好的保持了学生学习的兴趣,学生觉得学习起来不是很困难,愿意积极参与到学习中去。在启发学生回答What about you?的时候不是很充足,由于学生是新接触这个句型还有点陌生,反馈情况不是很好。这一句型是本单元的复习中着力实现的目标。
