1、知识目标:巩固已学过的有关形状的词汇,学生能听说基本单词和句型,利用游戏及歌曲的形式让学生多说英语,敢于开口,积极参与活动。
2、情感目标:培养良好的学习习惯,通过各种活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣,把所学知识与生活紧密结合起来,让学生学有所用。3、教学重点:1、正确朗读并掌握句型。2、能够用英语熟练说出生活中遇到的图形。

教具准备:多媒体课件、图片、实物模型。
教学过程
Step1 Warm up
1、Sing a song
(All the kites in the sky )
(设计意图:多媒体课件呈现儿童歌曲“All the kites in the sky“”,学习边欣赏春天野外,放风筝的画面,边和着轻快的节奏歌曲,为下一步教学做好铺垫。)
Step2Revision
1、Review the words about the shapes
square ,rectangle ,triangle
T : Look at all these kites , how colorful
and beautiful they are And they are also have kinds of shapes.
What shape do you like best?
S :I like this one
T :What shape is it?
S :It’s a square/rectangle/triangle(教师板书贴图)
2、 T :Boys and girls,today we’ll meet an old friend,Who’s she?What shape is she in (a circle)(多媒体课件出示樱桃小丸子的图片)
(设计意图:利用多媒体课个中生动的形象,多彩的画面,学生喜爱的动画人物,富有亲和力的人物形象和语言刺激学生的兴趣,增强学生复习记忆的效果。)
Step3 Learn the new words
1、Presentation
T : Let’s have a rest,sing a song“Twinkle,twinkle,little star”
S :( Sing a song)(学生已学过这首歌)
T : (歌曲喝完后,教师自问自答)
What shape is the star?(手拿星星的教具)
It’s a star(帮助学生一起回答)
Read this word after me
S :Star
T :Ok, let’s sing the song again.
S : (Sing a song again)
(设计意图:在紧张的课堂上穿插一首歌曲,可以使学生的心情放松。在不知不觉中提高听说能力。这一小片段,以歌曲缓解课堂的节奏,然后引出新授单词,最后以歌曲巩固新授单词。)
2、Show out a picture of a ship.
T :How many triangles are there?
S :There are five
T :How many circles are there?
S :There are eight circles.
T :How many squares are there?
S :There are two.
T :How many rectangles are there?
S :There are three.
T :Good
Now we can say a rhyme(出示小黑板)
Triangle,triangle,five triangles.
Circle, circle ,eight circles.
Square, square, two square,
Rectangle,rectangle, three rectangles.
Oh, this is a very nice ship
S :(学生朗诵这首小诗)
(设计意图:这一环节把一些枯燥的但具有一定联系的知识编成一首小诗,用所学的图形组成一个轮船图形,与数学有机结合,总结出一首小诗,感觉新颖奇特,富有童趣。这一活动既巩固了学生对英语中形状表述的掌握,既能巩固所学内容,又能使学生始终保持学习的兴趣,为后一步教学做好铺垫。)
Step4 Learn the new sentence
1、Presentation
多媒体出示动画片《喜羊羊与灰太狼》中灰太狼被红太狼挨打的图片,用红色标记出灰太狼挨打时的睛睛和眼冒光的地方。
T : How many ovals are there?
S : There are two ovals
T : How many stars are there?(教师帮助学生回答)
S : There are many stars.
T : Oval, oval, two ovals.
Star,star,many stars.
Oh,this is a sad wolf
(设计意图:这一环节,用学生们最喜欢的动画片《喜羊羊与灰太狼》的片段,这既能吸引孩子们的注意力,又能一下子抓住学生的心。)
Step5 Consolidation
Task
1 (任务1):出示用图形拼成的图片:小汽车、木偶、房子等),让学生分组练说各组的图形。
Task
2(任务2):让学生听一段录音,并且给图画添加所缺部份。
Task
3(任务3):Make a mask and introduce the mask.
(设计意图:体现“任务型”的思想,让学生在做中用英语,将新、旧图形综合在一起,为学生提供创造性学习的平台。培养了学生的动手能力,调动了学生学习的积极性,让学生用英语向他人介绍自己的面具作品,鼓励学生灵活运用所学语言。)
Step6 Homework
(1)、listen and read (听录音读课文)
(2)、运用所学图形画画并能描述。
(设计意图:让学生运用已有的知识和学习方法,来尝试探索,解决其他问题,同时也锻炼了学生的口头表达能力。)
