Ⅰ:Teaching Aims:

Knowledge aims: ·Understand and say the words and sentences.



·Be able to understand and say the sentence patterns. “I love.What do you do in the spring/summer? I pick flowers in the spring./I go swimming in the summer.”


·Be able to understand and sing the song of “I love spring”

Ability aims: ·Ss can describe spring/summer.


·Develop students’ imagination and enable them to use the words and sentences in their life.

Emotion aims: 
·Be confident and happy during learning English.



·To cultivate students’ interest in learning English.

Ⅱ:Difficult /Focal Points:
·Be able to understand and say: “What do you do in the spring/summer? Iin the spring/summer.”
·To make the students understand and say the sentences fluently.

·Help the students to use the target language properly.
Ⅲ:Teaching Aids:
Flashcards、 
CAI、 tape-recorde、 some toys.

Ⅳ: Teaching  steps
Step1. Warm-up
1. Greetings
2. Free talk
Step2. Introduction
1. Show the flashcards. stick the flashcard on the blackboard ,have students read  them out. Review some words and phrases.
2. Have Ss describe seasons 
S1: I’m spring. It’s warm and rainy. The trees and grass are green. Birds sing and flowers bloom.
S2: I’m summer. It’s hot and sunny. The sun is very bright.
S3: I’m autumn. It’s cool and windy. Leaves fall to the ground.
S4: I’m winter. It’s cold and snowy. Children make snowmen in the snow.
Ask and answer: T: Do you love them? Ss: Yes!

T:I love them too. I love.

3. Learn sentence: I love.
4. a. Show ice-cream , have students read it and do the action “eat ice-cream” and write: I eat ice-cream in the summer
Use the same way to teach "go swimming、ride a bike……"and say: “ I go swimming /ride a bikein the summer”. Encourage them to say sentences.
b. Teacher write sentence on the blackboard : “ What do you do in the summer”? 
students will get know the meaning easily. And when the teacher says sentence, the students should say: I eat ice-cream in the summer. 

c. Use the same way to teach "fly kites、pick flowers、play soccer……"and say: I pick flowers in the spring. And teacher ask : What do you do in the spring ? Students will like to answer :I pick flowers/fly kites/play soccer in the spring.
5: Play game :Cross
Bridge
Ask two students come to the front and other students cross the bridge. (when the question come out , the student who has the answer should to ask, ask the sentence.)
Step3. Do more practice

1. Listen, Look and check 
2. Read  this lesson
Step4. Let’s Song 
     Teacher play the tape, sing the song (Ask every groups of students come to the front sing )

Step5. Homework
   
1.  Read  this lesson.
   
2. Do the actions and sing the song for their parents.
