Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge Aim:
   To have Ss master the new words and sentences.
   Words:jump climb
   Sentences: Who can jump / climb?
                   Rabbits can jump.    Rabbits can jump on the grass.
                   Monkeys can climb.  Monkeys can climb up the tree.
2. Ability Aim:
    To have Ss improve their abilities of listening and speaking.
3. Emotion Aim:
    To foster Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation .

Teaching Procedures:                                      
Step 1 Warm-up
        1.Greeting
           Show a paper rabbit and a paper monkey. Have the two paper animals say hello to Ss.
           Rabbit & Monkey :Hello,boys and girls.
           Ss : Hello.
           Rabbit :I am a rabbit.
           Monkey : Iam a monkey.(鼓励学生说出他们的名字。奖励最先答出的孩子一张兔子卡片或者猴子卡片)
           R&M :Let’s sing a song together,OK?
           Ss :OK!
        2.Sing the songs of Lesson 8 and Lesson 9.(教师模仿兔子和猴子的声音说话,并和孩子一起边做动作边唱,复习第8、9课的歌曲)

Step 2 Revision
        1) Draw sky , grass , flowers , trees ,clouds on the Bb and have Ss say the words one by one.(使用简笔画在黑板上迅速画出花草树木以及云朵,边画边让学生猜猜是什么,并说出对应的英语单词)
        2)Have some Ss come to front and color.
           T :Color the sky blue.
                 Color the clouds white.
                 Color the flowers red and yellow.
                 Color the trees and grass green.
                (复习刚刚学完的内容:让学生根据教师所说的句子,给黑板上的图涂上相应的颜色。给做对的学生奖励一张兔子卡片或者猴子卡片。)

Step 3 Presentation and Practice
         1)Rabbit : I am happy .Let’s jump. Jump! Jump! Jump, jump, jump! (教师模仿兔子的声音一边呈现新单词,一边拿着小兔子做跳的动作)
              Ss listen and read after T.
              R :Wow! I like the grass . Jump on the grass. Rabbits can jump on the grass.(教师手拿兔子,将兔 子放到黑板上画出的草地位置,并让兔子做跳的动作。)
              Ss listen and repeat.(让学生跟着老师边做动作别说,并分小组读)
              Invite some students to say and act.(邀请几位学生上来扮演小兔子,将paper rabbit贴在学生身上,让学生边说边做动作,并给与奖励)
         2)Monkey :Rabbits can junp. I can climb. Climb! Climb! Climb, climb, climb! (教师模仿猴子用不服气的语说出新单词climb,边说边用动作表现单词意思)
              M :I like the tree. Climb up the tree. Monkeys can climb up the tree. (教师手拿猴子,将猴子放在黑板所画树干的位置,并让猴子上下移动,做爬的动作)
              Ss listen and repeat.(让学生跟着老师边做动作别说,并分小组读)
              Invite some students to say and act.(邀请几位学生上来扮演小猴子,将paper monkey贴在学生身上,让学生边说边做动作,并给与奖励)
              Listen and chant:
                       Jump / jump / jump junp junp
                       Rabbits can jump.
                       Rabbits can jump / on the grass.

                       Climb / climb / climb climb climb
                       Monkeys can climb.
                       Monkeys can / climb up the tree.
                      (以chant 的形式鼓励孩子边说边做,激发孩子的兴趣,同时也巩固了句型。)
        3)Show some other paper animals one by one. And have Ss say what these animals can do.
            e.g.  Rabbit — Rabbits can jump. Rabbits can jump on the grass.
            Frog  — Frogs can jump. Frogs can jump on the grass.
            Bear  — Bears can climb. Bears can climb up the tree.
            Panda — Pandas can climb. Pandas can climb up the tree.
           ( 先让学生说,再让答对的学生带其他学生读,及时奖励)
        4) Show the four animals together.
           T:Can panda jump? Yes or No?
           Ss:No.
           T:Can bears jump? Yes or No?
           Ss:No.
           T:Who can jump? Rabbits?(教师图片、动作提示,并用疑问的语气提问)
           Ss:Yes. Rabbits can jump on the grass.(教师提示用完整的新句型表达出来)
           Listen and repeat.
           Teach the other sentence(Who can climb?) in the same way.
           T asks and Ss answer.
           Who can jump? (Rabbits, frogs)
           Who can climb? (Bears, pandas, monkeys)
      5)Practice.
           A.以分组一问一答的形式来操练句型,并交换进行;
           B.让几位学生按顺序上来表演并提问,其他学生边做动作边用句型回答。给上台表演的学生给与奖励动物卡片。

Step 4  Consolidation
       1). Review the chant.
             Jump / jump / jump junp junp
             Who can jump?
             Rabbits can jump.
             Rabbits can jump / on the grass.

             Climb / climb / climb climb climb
             Who can climb?
             Monkeys can climb.
             Monkeys can / climb up the tree.
            (复习之前的chant 并添加新的内容进去,让学生边说边跟着做)
       2) Listen and sing a song. (本课歌曲)

Step 5 Homework
       1)听录音跟读课文10分钟
       2) 为父母表演唱自己新学的歌曲(the song of Lesson22)
       3)想想你还会英语说哪些动物?还有哪些动物会跳?哪些动物会爬树?
