Teaching procedures:
Pre-task
1. Greetings
2. Sing a song: Grapes are sweet
3.Look at the screen and say together:
apple , grapes , sweet , sour
These apples are sweet.
These grapes are sweet.
These grapes are sour.(利用多媒体课件复习,方便快捷地复习了有关单词和句型,为新内容的学习做铺垫)
While-task
Task 1: pear , orange
These pears are sweet.
T:Today we will learn Lesson 31. Now , please read after
me: thirty-one. Let’s count from one to thirty-one .
Let’s play a game: Touch and guess.
T: What’s this ? Please touch and guess.(教师拿出一个装有三种不同水果的盒子,让一位学生把手伸进去触摸来猜测。一年级学生年龄小,好奇心强,通过Touch and guess的小游戏,激发了学生的学习兴趣,而且很自然地引出新单词。)
S: Apple/Pear/Orange.
T: Please take it out . Apple? Yes or no?
Ss: No .
T: Pear/Orange.
(If the student can’t speak the fruit in English , the teacher will ask the student to speak in Chinese .)
Have Ss read the new words one by one .
Look at the screen and talk :
These pears are sweet .
These oranges are sweet .
These oranges are sour .
Task 2: orange,
These oranges are orange .

1)T:Look at the rainbow. What color is it ?
Ss:Red/Green/Blue/Yellow.
T:Orange.(利用彩虹帮助学生复习已经学习过的有关颜色的单词。用超链接的形式一个个复习不同颜色的单词,以旧带新巧妙地引出新单词orange,这样学生对不同的颜色就不会混淆,让学生对单词的音、形、义有一个完整的认识。)
2)Have Ss read the word one by one.
3)T:(points to an orange)The orange is orange.
4)T: Boys and girls. Do you like cartoons ? Let’s watch the cartoons .
(About Donald paints his car red .) (通过幽默、滑稽的动画片让学生在欢声笑语中学习了英语)
5)T:(points to a car in the screen)Look! What’s this? It’s a car. If it is your car, what color do you like ?
S1:Red/Yellow/Orange…(教师用电脑的交互功能给学生创造了一定的想象空间。让学生选择自己喜欢的颜色,用超链接的形式让汽车变成学生选择的颜色,使学习过程变得轻松愉快。)
6) T:I have a car .Can you guess? What color is it?
S:…
T:Yes. It’s orange.
Look! My car is orange .
These oranges are orange .
1) T: Boys and girls, I have an orange car .I have some fruits. Can you guess? What are they?
S1: Apples.
T: Yes. Look! I have some apples. What color are the apples ?
S2: These apples are red .
S3: These apples are green.
S4: These apples are yellow.(在教学中采用形象、生动的课件,让学生在情景中掌握句型,运用语言。)
2) Use the same way to teach:
These oranges are orange/yellow .
These pears are green/yellow.
3) Have Ss read the sentences one by one .
Post-task
1. Play the tape. Ss listen and point the words and drills.
2. Play the tape. Ss listen and say.
3. Ss read the text by themselves .
4.T:Do you like fruits ?

3). Ss sing the song by themselves .(用歌曲结束这节课,让学生在愉快的氛围中巩固了所学的新内容。)
Homework:
1. Read the text after the tape .
2.Sing the song for your father and mother .
