教材分析
本课为1B教材Unit 4中的第六课时,内容为学习表述人、物的高矮,通过前几课的学习,学生已掌握了几组形容词性质的反义词,如:long-short、fat-thin、、good-bad、fast-slow. 对句型比较熟悉,通过一段时间的英语学习,学生以能说出不少事物的名词,在学生以有的知识结构之上,本课重在引导学生观察人、物的高矮,并用英语做简单表述。
学情分析
本课的授课对象为一年级学生,他们年纪小,模仿力强、荣誉感强,喜欢做游戏,感性认识强于理性认识,所以教学中我通过实体或课件多次为他们呈现直观的表象,注重激发学生学习的兴趣,让学生在轻松愉悦的心境下学习。

Warm-up
1、Greeting.

Sing the songs while doing activities with the teacher.
上课伊始,歌曲吸引学生的注意力,创造学习英语的氛围。

Revision
Revision some words and sentences.
(Point to the screen and ask some questions.)

Student listen 、think and try to guess the animals.
Students read after teacher.
教师简单描述动物特征,学生猜出是哪种动物,进而导入giraffe、duck。
朗读单词,强化学生的记忆。
课件逐步呈现的giraffe、duck图片。
出示单giraffe、duck卡片。
2.Learn the new words“tall、short”.
(Teachers to use gestures to help students understand the meaning of the words
)
Read after teacher.
(Present the new words“tall、short”.) The students in understanding, based on the teacher to answer the question.
Students read after teacher. 教师利用课件引导帮助学生理解高矮的含义。
朗读单词,强化学生的理解记忆。 课件逐步呈现tall、short的单词,并且板书单词。
出示tall、short单词卡片。

运用肢体动作,活化了课堂,实现生动教学。

4.Learn the new sentences.

Who’s tall?
Who’s short? Look at the screen and try to answer the question as fast as they can.
S:
The … is tall.
The …is short.
利用不同组可比较的人物,学生通过观察迅速用语言作出反应,抢答活动不断将单词tall、short和句型融合在一起进行操练。 屏幕呈现多组突出表现高矮图片。
课件呈现句型并且板书。
5.Group work.
(Teachers first model, and then four by students in groups to discuss the use of sentence.) Four students in groups to discuss the use of sentence. 由师生示范到生生操练。不但使句型和单词得到口头操练,放松学生的心情。同时通过小组活动培养了学生合作能力。 课件呈现小组合作操练场景。
Step4. Practice.
1.Listen circle and say.

Students listen to recordings to complete the exercise followed by a discussion.
完成练习,检验巩固所学,同时,培养学生在听录音时努力做到“耳到、手到、眼到、心到”。

Step5. Consolidation
1.Look at screen and understand the reason of “Everyone has his strong and weak points”.
(Video play the story “camel and sheep”.) Student while watching the story as he thought. 帮助学生理解 “尺有所短寸有所长”的道理。 课件呈现《骆驼和羊》的故事。
2.Let’s sing.
sing a song “the giraffe is
tall”.
Sing the song while clapping them hands with teacher.
歌曲调节课堂气氛,同时歌曲内容也是对本课单词、句型的强化和再输入。 课件播放教材歌曲录音。
Homework
Draw some animals pictures and say the sentences.
