The analysis of the teaching content:
The topic of this unit is ”feelings ”. Such a topic is related to our daily life. So it is helpful to raise the Ss’ learning interests.
This section is the first part of this unit. It includes new words: duck swan happy sad ;and the pattern: The swan is happy. The duck is sad ; and the dialog ”Why are you so sad , little duck? I have no friends.” So if the students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the students learn the rest of this topic.
The analysis of the students:
The students have learned English for one years .They can understand some words and some simple sentences. According to their abilities and hobbies , they have taken a great interest in English now .
The aims and demands:

(A) To able the students to understand and say the new words: duck swan happy sad
(B)To make the students know how to use the sentences
Abilities aims:
(A) To develop the Ss ’ abilities, especially listening and speaking ability.
(B)To develop the Ss ’ abilities of communication by learning the useful words and structures.

(A) To enable the students to express their feelings.

Step1: Warm up
1 free talk.
T : Hello ,boys and girls ! Nice to meet you!
2 Sing a song:
If you are happy , clap your hands.
If you are happy , stamp your feet .
Step2 : Presentation:
1 T: Well, boys and girls , look at the blackboard, please. What’s this? ( teacher draws swan on the blackboard, ask the students and guess it .)
2 T: Ok, “swan” look at here , Is it a swan?
Ss : No, It’s a duck.
T: Yes .
”duck” Can you do action about “duck?”
S: Yes.
3T: Wow, look at this
. What’s this
?(teacher show the “stickers , ”The face is happy.
T: I am happy .Are you happy ?
S: Yes
4 T: Is this face happy?
Ss: No
T: Good . This face is no happy. It’s sad ( teacher do action about “sad”)
5 T: How about the swan /duck? ( teacher show the pictures)
S: The swan /duck is happy /sad.
Step3: Practice .
1 Listen to the tape and read after it .
2 T: Look at the pictures. Can you see animals?
S :Yes. They are bird / cat /chicken/swan/duck.
T ;Can you use the feelings to describle their feeling? Ok ,Let’s go ( the teacher show them on the screen.)
3 A game.
T: Look at here . here is a chair .I will choose four students walk around a chair .When I say “stop ’’, you should sit on the chair .The other students ask one sitting on the chair “Why are you so happy ? ” you should say ”I sit on the chair.” If you are right
, I will give you a star.

S: Yes.
4T :I’m very happy. Do you know why I am happy ? (The teacher show her own photos)
S: No
T: They are my friends.
I’m happy because I have many friends.
T: Do you have friends? Who is your friend in our class?
S: Xiao Ming is my friend.
T: You have friends in our class. Are you happy ?
S: Yes
T: Who is my friend in this class?
T: Oh ,I am sad. I have no friends in this class.

Step 4 : Consolidation
The teacher show the pictures on the screen: Here are six pictures and you should say like this.
A: Why are you so sad / happy ?
B: I have no / many friends.
Step 5: Homework
Collect some words about animals, and express their feelings.

根据低年级学生年龄特征和教学内容,我从以下几个方面来谈谈:
(1) 用轻松愉快的歌曲导入新课,让学生融入到学习英语的氛围中,创设开放宽松的学习环境。
(2)用多媒体配合板书、歌曲等教学形式,让学生在情境中学习操练。
(3)让学生积极的参与到课堂当中,体现学生的主体性。
