Essential points:


Understand these 4 words and use “What shape is it?” “It’s a___.” correctly.


Difficult points:


The step “Can you draw____.” Maybe the students can’t draw kinds of the pictures.


Teaching method: TPR .TASK


Teaching materials: CAI. toy building blocks.cards.


Teaching process:


Step1:Lead in :

Free talk


2.
Sing a song <<One little,two little,three little boy>>


Step2: Presentation:

Tomorrow is my consin’s birthday. I bought so much cards for him. Look!



(Teacher shows the cards)

The teacher shows the circle one and asks

Step3: Guessing game



There are many toy building blocks in my bag ! Can you guess out what shape is it ? The students guess one by one . They can get a sticker when they use the sentences correctly.


Step4: Look at the CAI

I can darw many beautiful pictures just with shapes. Look! The shapes are very popular and useful . Can you draw a different one by yourself?

Students draw the pictures just with these shapes.

Introduce your own picture



Step5:Home work



Can you make a nice card for my cousin, he will be very happy to see your card.


A summing up on teaching:



I should prepare the lesson much more carefully. I should design more activities for children, letting them learn to say words and sentences in activities.
