Teaching Procedures
Step1、 Warm-up
Let’s listen.播放本课将学的英文歌曲I am strong让学生放松一下紧张的心情,同时也是预习本课内容。
Step2、 Introduction and Practice
Let’s ask and answer. 老师向学生展示一个大箱子问学生:What’s inside ? 由此引出师生问答:
T: What’s inside ?
S: Apples ?
T: No. Stones.
Let’s guess.大屏幕上打出几个装有各种物品的漂亮的袋子,让学生猜测里面的东西,师生间问答:
T: What’s inside ?
S: Story books.
T: No. Rulers .
S: What’s inside ?
T: I don’t know . Let’s look.
S: Oh, beautiful stones. I like them.
Step3、 Introduction
Let’s look and say. 老师搬装有石头的箱子,做出吃力的样子说:Heavy ,heavy ,so heavy. The box is so heavy. 学生重复:Heavy, heavy ,so heavy. The box is so heavy. 让全体学生学老师的样子边做动作边学说。
Step4、Practice
Let’s act and say. Volunteers上前台学着老师的样子边说边做动作:
Heavy,heavy,the box is so heavy.学生分组重复这个句子。
Let’s pass.分组传口令,看哪组传得又对又快。
Command1:This box is heavy.
Command2:That box is light.
Command3:What’s inside?
Let’s read. 学生看大屏幕,听录音读句子:This box is so heavy. What’s inside? Stones .学生分组读,分成男生、女生读,齐读。
Step5、Introduction
让学生看大屏幕:一个健壮的男子边举起一个很重的箱子边说:I’m strong. I can lift the box. 再放另一个画面:一个瘦弱的女子搬不动一个箱子,她说:I’m weak. I cannot lift the box.重复他们说的话,学生跟着说。
Step6、 Practice
Let’s act and say. Volunteers 上前台试着搬装石的箱子,让他们说:I’m strong . I can lift the box.或I’m weak. I cannot lift the box. 当他们说这些有困难时,老师给予及时的帮助。
Let’s listen and do . 学生听口令做动作。口令如下:
Lift your arms .
Lift your books.
Lift your legs.
Lift your bookbags.
Let’s read.放录音,学生齐声跟读大屏幕上的句子。
I can lift the box .
The man can lift the box.
He is strong.
This box is too heavy.
I cannot lift it .
The woman cannot lift the box.
She is weak.
Let’s read again.变化方式读:
老师领读学生跟读,学生分组读,
男生齐读,女生齐读,个别读,
大声读,小声读,自由读。
Listen act and say. 老师说一个单词让 同学们把这个单词用动作表演出来。如:听到strong 这个词, 同学们做出很有力量的样子。说出如下词:woman man strong lift weak heavy box basket monkey tiger
Let’s spell them.让学生这样拼读单词: heavy h-e-a-v-y, stone s-t-o-n-e, lift l-i-f-t woman w-o-m-a-n , man m-a-n, strong s-t-r-o-n-g , weak w-e-a-k
Let’s look and write .让学生看单词,边拼读,边做书空练习。h-e-a-v-y ,s-t-o-n-e l-i-f-t ,w-o-m-a-n, m-a-n ,s-t-r-o-n-g , w-e-a-k
Step7、Look and read
让学生看大屏幕,画面与句子意思一致,说Yes,否则说No ,句子如下:
Stones are heavy.
The giraffe is short.
The elephant is big.
The glass is empty.
The basket is full.
Step8、Consolidation
Let’s sing. 老师先领读一遍歌词,再放录音。学生听录音看大屏幕上的歌词,学唱歌曲(歌词中重点词汇用红色标出)歌词如下:
I am strong , I am strong, very strong .
I can lift , I can lift this heavy box.
I am weak , I am weak, very weak.
I cannot , I cannot lift this box.
采取分组唱,男生唱,女生唱,齐唱的方式学唱。
