⑴继续渗透元音字母a在单词中发字母本身读音的情况（shade, cake, face, lake, name）.
⑵元音字母o在单词中发短音的情况（hǒt, clǒck, frǒg, hǒp, sǒuer）.
教学重难点：
1、能听懂、会说、描述天气热的句子。
2、能够听懂、会建议热天做某事的功能句型。
教具准备：
1、课文图片。
2、录音机，磁带，单词卡片、图片：热的、买、阴凉处（hot, buy, shade）.
3、实物：玻璃杯，热水。
4、教师自制计算机课件PPT。
教学过程：
1、Warm-up
⑴复习上节课学习的歌曲，巩固学习知识，营造学习气氛。
T:  I’m  happy,  Are  you  happy , too?
S:  Yes.  I’m  happy,  too.
T:  Let’s  sing.  Let’s  sing  the  song  “Nice,  nice,  nice!  It’s  nice  today.”
⑵师生交流
T:  I  want  to  play  ball.  引导学生说:
S:  I  want  to  play  ball,  too.
T:  Let’s  play  ball.
出示秋千、滑梯等图片，进行对话：
T:  It’s  nice  today.  What  do  you  want  to  do? 引导学生说出：
S： I  want  to  play  on  the  swing / slide.
T:  OK,  Let’s  play  on  the  swing / slide.
2、New  lesson
Ⅰ  ⑴学习生词hot和句型It’s  hot  today.
出示图片、画简笔画、做动作等方式教授hot,  It’s  hot  today.
教师通过体态语和表情，表示hot.
T:(出示图片，做“热”的动作和表情)It’s  summer.  It’s  hot.请学生说hot.准备热水让学生摸一摸，体验一下hot的感觉，增加趣味性，并加强感性认识。
T:(出示天气热的图片)How’s  the  weather  today?
S:  It’s  nice  /hot.
T:  Yes,  It’s  hot  today.  请学生说hot和It’s  hot  today.
⑵语音感知
把单词hot写在黑板上，并在字母o的上方打勾，表示字母o发短音。鼓励学生说出其他含有字母o，并发短音的单词，如hot  clock  frog  hop  soccer.培养学生拼读能力。
Ⅱ  学习shade,  in  the  shade和Let’s  stand  in  the  shade.
⑴通过图片、简笔画等学习单词shade,  in  the  shade.
将学生有秩序地带到学校操场上有树的地方。
T:  What’s  this?
S:  It’s  a  tree.
T: (指着树阴) What’s  this?
S:  It’s  shade.
T:  Yes,  it’s  shade.
T:  （做热的动作和表情）It’s   very  hot.  It’s   very  hot.（指着太阳）The  sun  is  very  bright.  Do  you  want  to  stand  in  the  shade?（老师走到阴凉下），引导学生说出： 
S： Yes.
T:  OK.  Let’s  stand  in  the  shade.请学生说shade,  in  the  shade.  Stand  in  the  shade.
⑵语音感知
可以将单词shade写在黑板上，在字母上方画横线，表示字母a发本身的读音，鼓励学生说出其他含字母a并发本身读音的单词，如shade,  cake,  shape,  grape,  name等。
⑶学习buy和Let’s  buy  some  ice  cream.
出示天气热的图片，问学生：
T:  What’s  the  weather  like  today?
S:  It’s  hot.
T:  Yes.  It’s  hot  today.  What  do  you  want  to  eat?
出示ice  cream图片，引导学生说出ice  cream。
S:  I  want  to  eat  ice  cream.
T:  （从自己钱包掏出钱，一边往教室门口走，一边对学生说）OK.  Let’s  buy  some  ice  cream .
请学生说：ice  cream,  some  ice  cream,  buy  some  ice  cream,  Let’s  buy  some  ice  cream.
玩“开商店”游戏
分小组做游戏：一个或两个学生是店主（shop  keeper），摆一些图片，如cake,  carrot,  chocolate,  ice  cream,  cookies,  apples…等其他学生来买，鼓励学生编对话：
A:  It’s  hot  today.  Let’s  buy  some  ice  cream.
B:  OK.
A/B:  I  want  to  buy  some  ice  cream.
Shopkeeper:  OK.  Here  you  are.
A/B:  Thank  you.
C:  I  want  to  buy  some  apples…
Ⅲ  听录音
A.  Listen,  look  and  say.
B.  Work  in  pairs.
C.  Listen  and  check.
学生准备好，教师播放录音，学生听录音，根据听到的内容，在相应的图上打勾。
D.  Listen  and  number.
⑴全班仔细看图识词，然后按顺序读出每个单词。
⑵听录音，按录音的先后次序，在每一幅图右上方圆圈中填上序号。
E.  Let’s  sing.
⑴学生听歌曲，教师引导学生理解歌词大意。
⑵学生边听边学唱歌曲，并鼓励学生编一些动作，发展学生想象力、创造力和表演力。
⑶学生分小组演唱，并评出演唱和表演最好的小组，教师带领全班同学鼓掌鼓励他们。
Ⅳ  课后作业
1、听录音跟读单词和课文。
2、熟读本课单词卡。
3、听录音唱本课歌曲。
4、听录音预习下一课课文。
5、做《活动手册》P16页练习。
