Understand and say the words and sentences.

a)Ss can describe spring..
b)Develop students’ imagination and enable them to use the words and sentences in their life.

a)Be confident and happy during learning English.
b)To cultivate students’ interest in learning English.
Difficult /Focal Points:
To make the children understand and say the sentenses fluently.
Help the children to use the target language properly.

Flashcards. CAI.  sentence cards .  hand puppet.tape-recorde

  Ⅲ   Teaching  steps
Step1. Warm-up
  a. Play the tape, have the students sing a song and do the actions  together.
   b.  Review some words and phrases.(Show the flashcards, have students read  them out.)  
Step2. Introduction
    a.  Sing a Chinese song----Where is the spring?  设计意图:适当用和春天有关的汉语歌曲引入课堂,让学生更容易明白下一步要学习写什么。课间十分钟的玩耍,使刚刚上课的小学生们的大脑处于兴奋状态,注意力很难集中,好听的歌曲、欢快的节奏能逐步将学生的注意力吸引到课堂中,良好的开端是成功的一半 
Students will very happy for sing this song, at this moment, teacher can show the flashcard about spring to the students, encourage students to say "spring", and then teacher can give them the Chinese meaning. Then teacher stick  the card on the blackboard.
  b.  Teacher make an impression about warm, have students do the action with the teacher and say the word loudly.
    c.  Use the same way to teach "rainy", after students can say the two wors frequently, encourage them to say "It's warm and rainy. "Through the actions to make the students konw the Chinese meaning. Then put the two words and one sentence on the blackboard.
    d.   Show the flashcard "The trees and grass are green." to the students,and most of them can read it. Have them read it several times.
   e.  Teacher do the action "bloom" and say it, students will get konw the meaning easily, they will like to do the action with the teacher together.Still stick the flashcard on the blackboard.  .  
  f.  After this, play the tape, have students read after the tape.
Step3. Do more practice.
  a.  Teacher  mumber the two words and  two sentences, when the teacher says 1 and 2 , the students should  say, " Spring, it's warm and rainy"
When the teacher says 3 and 4,  the students should  say, "The trees and grass are green. Birds sing and flowers bloom." and so on. 
   b.  Divide the whole class into seveal groups, have a competition, give the winner a star on the blackboard.
   c.  Teacher give one flashcard to the students, and play the tape "Where is the spring?" Let the students pass the card, when the music stop,the student who has the flashcard should to stand up, read the sentence, if  the student right, give he\she a star.
设计意图:用多种形式的操练来巩固,此环节锻炼了学生的听力、头脑反应能力,协调能力。)
  d.  Have  students open their books, play the tape, let's do part 3 together. Teacher can ask two students come to the front,  do this part on the blackboard.
Step4. Song/Game
   a.  Teacher play the tape, sing the song and do the actions.
      Spring,      It's spring.      
      It's warm and rainy.
      The trees and grass are green.    Birds sing and flowers bloom. 
   b.  Ask students do it with the teacher.
   c.  Ask every groups of students come to the front sing and do the actions one group by one group.(Give the groups different numbers of stars,  Let's see, which group is the best.)
设计意图:歌曲有利于学生进一步巩固新知识,多种形式操练歌曲,教师首先示范边唱边跳,学生齐唱
d. A game!  Use a hand puppet to have a competition with some students.设计意图:再一次复习了所学,在“用”上让学生感受到学习兴趣,从而达到学以致用。并引出了下课主体句型。

   a.  Read  this lesson.
   b. Do the actions and sing the song for their parents.

课后反思:要上好一节小学英语课尤其是低年级英语课非常不容易,需要做大量的教具,同时还需要教师保持一颗童心、一个装满童话故事的大脑、一种能歌善舞的表演技能等等,所以在上本节课之前我做了大量的准备工作,同时也取得了较好的教学效果   本课是一堂的日常教学课。在已学知识基础上,利用学生对春天的感知,通过一首孩子熟悉的“春天在哪里”吸引其注意力,带领学生在不知不觉中进入到新知识的学习中,这有利于在教学中通过积极地引导、有效地训练和恰当地扩展来活跃和丰富课堂内容,从而让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握知识。
   低年级的孩子自制力较差,需要老师不断的提醒,于是教学中我采用了小组比赛形式,复习已学内容,有效刺激学生的竞争心理与合作精神。我也利用比赛的不断激励与提醒作用,让学生充满兴趣地习得新知识。我还尽量通过联系实际生活,实现学以致用的目的,使学生真正感受到学习英语的价值,同时体验到了学习成功的喜悦。
  根据学生特点,在学唱儿歌的基础上我还自编舞蹈,让学生很快地掌握节奏,更加有兴趣地学唱歌曲
