Step1 Warm-up
Have Ss sing of Part4 on67
Step2 Presentation
(1)Leading in and teach both words and drills
Teacher holds up an amiable toy dog and asks:
What’s this?
S1: A dog.
Ss repeat.
Teacher sticks a bone card on the Bb and says:
Do you think what the dogs eat?
What’s this? It’s a bone. Ss repeat.
Who likes a bone?
S2:A dog.
Teacher holds up a lovable toy monkey and says: What’s this?
S3: A monkey. Ss repeat. Teacher says:
Do you think what the monkeys want?
Teacher sticks a peach card on the Bb S4: A peach. Ss repeat.
(2)Use multimedia show Ss a dog and a monkey pictures and point to the dog…)
T: Look at that dog! Look at that monkey!
Ss read after me three times with various intonations.
Again show Ss a bone and a peach with bubbles.
T: The dog wants a bone.
The monkey wants a peach.
Let Ss read after the tape recorder until they can say these fluently. Step3 Practice
Have Ss take out cards or real items.
Work in pairs.
Then good students come to the front and act them out.
Step4 Learn to sing
1.First listen.
2. Then sing after the tape while they look at the computer screen.
3.Work in groups.
Step5 Consolidation and expansion
Open their books to p69.
1)Look ,listen＆match with pencils and rulers.
2)Do Exx1.2.3 on workbook of p59-60.
3)Ss check answers one another. Talk about these pictures as well as their ideas.
T:Do you like animals?
Sn:Yes,we do.
T: We should take good cake of them .They are our good friends.
